Important Dates in October 2009
Here is a reminder of some important dates that are coming up in October 2009.
Oct 6 (Tues) at 9:30am – Open School Day
Oct 8 (Thurs) at 3:30pm and 6pm – PYP Meeting for Parents
Oct 12 (Mon) – School Holiday
Oct 23 (Fri) – Shoes Home
Oct 28 (Wed) at 1pm – Fall Festival
Also, please note that October 3 is the date for the Tsuchiura Fireworks Competition. If you have never attended this event, it comes highly recommend it as one of the best fireworks displays in Japan. The roads are VERY busy on this day, especially Tsuchiura Gakuen-sen, so it is probably a good idea to either ride your bicycle or drive to Hitachi no Ushiku and take the train to Tsuchiura.
