External assessments are an important tool for reflecting on and improving student learning at our school. It is important for students, parents, and teachers to have many data points upon which to base decisions regarding our students’ education. In addition, it is important for us, as a school, to have a sense of the context in which our school is operating, and how students at our school perform in comparison with students at other schools around the world.
Here are our 2017 school results for ISA (International Schools Assessment) compared to national results from PISA 2012. (PISA 2015 results came out in late 2016, and not in time to be compared to the 2017 results.)
- Reading (Grade 8) – 2017
- Mathematical Literacy (Grade 8) – 2017
- Scientific Literacy (Grade 8) – 2017
(We do not have current data for Grade 9 as the class has fewer than 10 members.)
