Jobs

Tsukuba International School is an elementary school that offers a full-time international curriculum in English for students from Grades 1 to 6. In September 2010, we will commence our junior high school program (initially Grades 7 and 8, eventually offering up to Grade 10). We are also planning to seek International Baccalaureate authorization for our primary and middle year programs (currently at the “candidate school” phase).

If you are interested in working at Tsukuba International School, please see our jobs list for any positions we are currently seeking to fill.

If we are not currently advertising any positions, you may still send in your resume (PDF or plain text format) to the following address for consideration during our next recruitment phase. We are particularly interested in recruiting teachers who have some knowledge of, or interest in, the International Baccalaureate and its primary and middle year programs.

You may also want to consider joining our Job Announcement Mailing List. When new positions become available, we will send an announcement to the list. (Please click on the link for more information about the list.)

Please note that we will only consider applicants who have teaching qualifications (e.g. university degree in education qualifying that person to become a school teacher) from countries where English is an official language. Tsukuba International School is NOT an English conversation school, and therefore we do not accept resumes from people who are not qualified teachers.

We may not respond to your submission if we are not currently recruiting, but we will keep your resume on file for a period of one year and, if you are a certified teacher at the elementary or junior high school level, we will consider you if a position does become available. Thank you for your understanding.
