Mission Statement
“Celebrating diversity, equality, and opportunity” aligns with CRC Article 2, which emphasizes the right of every child to be treated without discrimination, regardless of their or their parents’ characteristics.
The school’s focus on being a “compassionate learning community” promotes the principles of CRC Article 3, which underscores the best interests of the child as a primary consideration.
Pledge of Non-Discrimination
The explicit commitment to not discriminate based on factors such as “race, color, gender, nationality, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression” is in direct accordance with CRC Article 2, which stipulates that children should not be subject to discrimination of any kind.
