Our school has a history of almost 30 years (since 1992), but the record of Tsukuba International School as an International Baccalaureate World School is much shorter than that. We started on our journey towards becoming an IB World School in 2008, and we gained authorization for our three programmes, the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP) in 2011, 2014, and 2017, respectively. In 2019, we graduated our first students from the Diploma Programme, and in 2021, we are graduating our third DP cohort.
