At TIS we often invite researchers from Tsukuba’s world-class universities and research institutes to share research related to a topic we are studying. The Grade 4/5 students are doing a unit on Healthcare and Medicine in which they are learning about the human body, diseases and illnesses, the history of medicine, and modern medical practice….
For this art project, our kids put pools of black paint on paper and then blew the paint around with straws. Once the black paint dried, they filled in the in between bits with watercolour paints. Click on the image below to see a slide show of the kids’ work.
